Recently, my boyfriend bought a 3DS for us to share. Naturally, I was excited. Who wouldn’t be excited? This is the next generation of gaming isn’t it? The 3D mode was interesting, but lacked something every gamer would find essential: The freedom to move your head around with 3D on! Don’t get me wrong, I love the 3DS, Nintendo made a huge evolutionary leap with the graphics. That being said, I move my head while I’m gaming, especially when I get into it. But, when in 3D mode, if you move your head just slightly to the left, right, top, or bottom, the graphics double and you’re left trying to find the sweet spot again. This is a pretty big flaw considering double-vision usually causes headaches, dizziness, and even nausea. If you ask me, it’s either Nintendo fixes this problem or we can’t fully take that evolutionary step yet. I’ll be playing in 2D from now on.
